common mistakes class 10 students make in Maths before Board Exams

Common mistakes in Maths Exam

Not revising easier topics

Most of the students do this mistake, they just ignore topics which are vey easy . Generally it has been observed and share by teachers that students stuck in MCQ which seems to easy . For example Arithmetic Progression is easy based on formula but when students face rea life situation based question then he/she could not connect the that situation to the concept of AP basic concept , even though very confident to do one of the tough question

Lack of writing tendency

Now a days students depends on internet solutions. We cant deny that solutions are really helpful but while using them wisely . Generaly now shorts , reels destroy the creativity and hard work approach . In order to get quick result students mostly find short and reel or use AI tools and Google. By doing this practice student want to save time and grab more and more informations and unintentialy he loose the writing ability .  On other hand some of the toppers and sincere students  those who understand the future scenerio get only idea and begin to write and make efforts themselves to attempt the problem

Ignoring NCERT

After completing the course students think that only reference book is the key to success . However it is true refences book , exemplar give extra questions for practice . But  Students should remember that important concepts highlighted in NCERT, some of the examples with solutions are very important in NCERT. The same concepts and examples of NCERT explained in reference books in the form of questions ,but in NCERT they organized in proper way with relevant concepts , Therefore even though complete the course again they should go through

Avoiding the practice of CASE-BASED questions

In a new exam  pattern there are compulsory case based questions in question paper. It has been observed by teachers that students attempt these questions  directly in exam. Some reasons why students avoid : 1 Answers are not directly formula based , instead there is application of concept 2 Too much reading involved in these type of questions , those who are not hard working they assumed these questions long and confusing so they  ignore  3 Lack of concertation power as in above section I mentioned this is  because of continuity in shorts reel they destroy their logical thinking and skills.

Maths Phobia

In student life most of the problems are imaginary . Students should remember problems seems to tough but when begin to solve with clam and cool mind gradually   algorithm of solution frame up in mind. The only solution is with a positive mind set and ignoring wrong answers solve again and again with  continue practice with  interest and for littel bit successful calculation reward yourself . Remember my one slogan i always use to say students : “waste papers and pen to write till you get answers “, once you get answer that is your new beginning  of  mastery  in maths

Solving Too Many New Questions at the Last Moment

Only a few intelligent students actually complete the course, solve sample papers, and then look for new questions for practice. But seeing them, those who haven’t even finished their course or studied the NCERT textbooks start chasing after new questions, everything gets mixed up, and they end up confused in the exam. qustions. So students who have not completed course or ncert and solve papers should avoid for new questions in lasts moments , instead they should first finish the course and compelte NCERT. After that solve sample paper and in last moments do strong revision
